The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has issued a recall on the medical device Beckman Coulter UniCel DxH 800 Coulter Cellular Analysis System, UniCel DxH 600 Coulter Cellular Analysis System, UniCel DxH 900 Coulter Cellular Analysis System for inaccurate readings diagnostic results. The devices are used to diagnose diseases and conditions such as anemia, infections, blood clotting problems, blood cancers and immune system disorders.
