Warner Chilcott is the company that plead guilty to violating the Anti-Kickback Statute and promoting their drugs for off label usage. The drugs in question are Actonel, Atelvia, Asacol HD, Doryx, Enablex, Estrace Cream, Loestrin and Lo-Loestrin. Its sales team would promote their medications as clinically superior to their competitor drugs and induce healthcare professionals to prescribe the medications when formulary restrictions precluded them from prescribing such drugs.
